Do Freelancers sign an NDA?

Yes a non-disclosure agreement forms part of every freelancers contractor agreement, which they sign during onboarding.

What are JamPot's notice periods?

30 days if you utilise either our on-demand services or if you're on a retainer-based model.

Do you have minimum spends or hour caps?

No we do not, nothing, zero.

Where are the freelancers based?

We are a business that uses the global workforce, but predominantly we use UK based talent.

How do I know the freelancers are human beings?

We have a thorough vetting process that spans over 5 hours covering reference checks, screening and formal interviews finishing with a robust onboarding process.

How am I protected if anything goes wrong?

All of the freelancers we onboard are insured with their own Professional Indemnity Insurance Policy and registered with the Information Commissioners Office. JamPot also holds both these certifications as a business.

Who owns the work completed by freelancers?

Our clients own the intellectual property of the work produced for them, all work is completed via JamPot email and storage, which we ensure the safety of should a freelancer leave our service.

Once work begins how involved are JamPot?

We're a high touch service, which sets us apart from the rest. We manage the relationship between and your freelancer(s) from the get go, checking in with both sides very regularly and monitoring communications, we're a personalised, bespoke service for a reason!

How do I contact my freelancers?

We allow you and your freelancer(s) to establish what communication channels are most effective, however JamPot will also facilitate a joint slack group for your freelancers, you and us to ensure there are no balls dropped!

Can I meet more than one freelancer?

Absolutely, the selection process is vital and we understand the importance of getting it right, meet as many of the freelancers as you wish, we want you to feel comfortable and happy with the support before it begins.

Do you have a portal where I can access everything I need?

Yes. Your account will incorporate billing, invoices, support, contact, current freelancers working with you on your account, your terms and conditions, scope of works - basically everything you need in one place.

How does the billing cycle work?

We send your invoice at the end of each month to your designated invoice contact and require funds to be cleared 7 days after invoice is sent.

What is VAT charged on?

VAT is charged to all UK based clients on the total value of the invoice.

What payments do you accept?

All payments, Bank transfer, payments by card via stripe and even crypto, via our blockchain provider.

Do you have minimum spends?

No. None, nothing, zero. We want you to feel comfortable, risk free and know you have total control and flexibility.

Do you have retainers?

Yes we do. We like all of our customers to utilise the pay as you go model first, even if its for a week, month or longer, this allows you to get comfortable with the service to learn the real needs of your business, then we can talk set costs and time if needed.

How long does the onboarding process take?

The onboarding process can be as quick as you make it, as this is down to you to submit all the information we need to verify you.

Who owns the work completed by Freelancers?

Our clients own the intellectual property of the work completed for them as per our terms and conditions.

How long are my notice periods?

30 days when working with our on-demand pay as you go clients, 45 days when working with our retainer based clients.

How do you pay freelancers?

We pay freelancers 14 days after the end of each month, if that falls on a weekend we pay the Monday after. We also raise invoices to you through self billing, keeping admin to a minimum and making the whole process seamless.

Am I paid for sales calls?

Yes. Freelancers receive a separate reduced internal rate for any internal activities related to JamPot. This ensures you are always compensated and never out of pocket.
